A Tempo Change

A Tempo Change

Spring Forward
I recoil
And on a Sunday
yet
damn certain to
beget
some backsliding

Who are we
to collectively pardon
this hour expecting
these seconds to simply
meander,

not a minute
led astray to maybe
mischief or mutation
calculating loss,
or growing to appreciate
a timely act of revenge

Maestro, if You Please.

I’m spry yet retired. I reside in the inner city of a major metropolitan area of the United States. I read politics. I watch baseball. I hum along with the tune. I June swoon, and moon the bad poem. Post here, are old and new. Opinions are my very own, except when wrong.

I had totally forgotten this was daylight savings and was wondering why my aero garden light didn’t automatically turn on at 7am….I’m just glad I remembered before I started troubleshooting…

I dislike the whole of this time shifting…won’t change my office wall clock for weeks as a weak protest…glad you avoiding troubleshooting…when I aim for a fix I’ve been known to turn a small issue damn near fatal.

Yeah…I would have been pushing buttons, unplugging…😆
