Pensive has found purchase
Sorta a bankrupt blues
That subtracts feelings
multiplies thinking
divides deciding to
Distort, cavort, and
resort to a plain Z
Which is more of a plea
To flee and or beguile the
overwrought current that’s
collapsing helter skelter
Sixties like… or so think
Gen XYZ, or maybe to just have us believe so
Ya know, show time has never
Been more contingent on who’s viewing
